Megumi's presence disappears from Team Blackout. Worried that she may have joined the Uniformers, they urge Danji, who has returned home, to head to the Okura family. Before Danji, Megumi appears, manipulating a Masques Deck.

To counter the Uniformers, an item arrives for Raika, who has been making efforts. This item reaffirms Raika's determination. Yu-yu, Tohya, Urara, and Megumi, as well as Danji, Mirei, and Taizo, devote themselves to training with the help of their allies.

AI Gui rejects Jinki's proposal and starts to make moves beyond their expectations. If they have taken the wrong path, they must correct it. Jinki challenges Gui to a duel as his foster parent, carrying the deck used by his older brother, Shingi, the inventor.

Masanori, who has skillfully evaded Tohya's challenges, finally faces him in a destined showdown on Mt. Yama. Masanori controls the Zorga Masques Deck, while Tohya unleashes a new Bastion Deck, determined to secure victory.

Danji presents a challenge to the Uniformers. In response, AI Gui sets up a stage at the sacred ground of Kaganokuni, Hakusan, to determine the future of Vanguard. In the first match, Shirogane stands before Yu-yu, once their comrade, Zakusa.
